3. Intellectual Property
The following elements of this Site are owned by OnlineMorseCode and protected by applicable intellectual property law:
- The site design, layout, CSS, and visual elements
- Original written content including the learning guides, tool descriptions, and article text
- The JavaScript code powering the translator, game, keyboard, and other tools
The following elements are not subject to our copyright:
- The Morse code character mappings themselves (ITU standard, public domain)
- Audio generated by the Web Audio API in your browser (you generate it)
- Historical facts about Morse code, Samuel Morse, or the ITU standard
You may quote from our original content with attribution. You may not reproduce entire pages, articles, or tool implementations without permission.
4. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any dispute arising from use of this Site will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. We operate internationally and serve users globally; where specific jurisdiction is required, we will work with you to find an appropriate resolution.
5. Accuracy Disclaimer
OnlineMorseCode follows ITU-R M.1677-1 and cross-references its content with ARRL and LCWO. However, all content is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. While we take extraordinary care with accuracy, we cannot guarantee that every character is error-free at all times.
For safety-critical applications: Do not rely solely on this site for Morse code used in emergency signalling, aviation, maritime, or military communications. Always verify safety-critical Morse code against official ITU publications or a licensed professional.
6. Prohibited Use
You may not use this Site to:
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce the site's content, design, or tools in bulk without permission
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the Site or its infrastructure
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates applicable laws
- Transmit malicious code, spam, or unauthorised advertising through the Site
- Misrepresent the source of Morse code translations from this Site
