1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OnlineMorseCode in any way — including browsing, using the Morse code translator, alphabet chart, or any other feature — you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA)
• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
• You have read and agree to our Privacy Policy
• If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms

2. Description of Service

OnlineMorseCode provides a free, browser-based Morse code generator and translator tool, including the following features:

• Text to Morse code translation (English to Morse)
• Morse code to text decoding (Morse to English)
• Audio playback of Morse code signals
• Blinking light Morse code simulation
• Interactive Morse code alphabet chart (A–Z, 0–9, punctuation)
• Common phrase examples and learning resources
• SOS signal generator

The Service is provided free of charge, supported by advertising revenue. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

3. Permitted Use

You may use OnlineMorseCode for the following lawful purposes:

• Personal use — translating text for personal curiosity, learning, or communication
• Educational use — learning Morse code for school, amateur radio study, or personal development
• Creative use — using Morse code translations in art, jewelry, tattoos, gifts, and creative projects
• Professional use — ham radio operators, aviation professionals, accessibility researchers
• Non-commercial sharing — sharing Morse code translations generated by the tool, with attribution to OnlineMorseCode where appropriate

4. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use OnlineMorseCode for any of the following:

• Any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Transmitting harmful, offensive, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or networks
• Scraping, crawling, or automatically extracting data from the Site without our prior written permission
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Site's code for competitive purposes
• Copying and republishing our content, tools, or design as your own product without permission
• Using the Site to distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Impersonating OnlineMorseCode or claiming affiliation where none exists
• Using the tool to facilitate any form of harassment, stalking, or illegal communication
• Circumventing or disabling any security features or advertising systems on the Site

We reserve the right to block access for users who violate these prohibitions.

5. Intellectual Property

Our Content

The OnlineMorseCode website — including its design, layout, graphics, code, text content, educational materials, and branding — is the intellectual property of OnlineMorseCode and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

Morse Code Itself

The Morse code system (dots and dashes representing letters and numbers) is an international public domain standard maintained by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). It is not owned by OnlineMorseCode, and you are free to use, transmit, and build upon Morse code in any lawful way.

Your Translations

Text you enter into our translator and the Morse code output generated from it belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over any translations you produce using our tool.

Feedback

If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that feedback to improve our services without any obligation to compensate you.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

OnlineMorseCode is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of Morse code translations
• Warranties that the site will be free of viruses or harmful components

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OnlineMorseCode and its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Site
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data
• Damages resulting from errors or inaccuracies in Morse code translations

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (which, since the service is free, is $0).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

8. Third-Party Links & Advertisements

OnlineMorseCode displays third-party advertisements (via Google AdSense) and may contain links to third-party websites. These are provided for convenience and informational purposes only.

• We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services
• Clicking on third-party ads or links is at your own risk
• We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites
• Advertisements displayed on OnlineMorseCode are managed by Google and do not constitute endorsement of advertised products or services

We may earn revenue from affiliate links (such as Amazon Associates) on the Site. These are clearly identifiable and do not affect the editorial independence of our content.

9. User-Generated Content

OnlineMorseCode currently does not have user accounts, comment sections, or public forums. All text entered into the Morse code translator is processed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

If we add user-facing features in the future (such as a saved translations feature or community forum), additional terms will apply and will be communicated at that time.

10. Privacy

Your use of OnlineMorseCode is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Site, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, update, or discontinue any feature of OnlineMorseCode at any time, with or without notice
• Introduce paid features or premium tiers alongside the free service

You may stop using the Site at any time. Since no account is required, there is nothing to delete or cancel.

If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding related to your use of the Site shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action or collective proceeding.

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. When we do:
